entertainment
: Many young Hong Kong people like to go sing karaoke or
go shopping. If you go to Tsim Sha Tsui at night, you can sometimes
see Hong Kong skateboarders or bicyclers doing tricks. Some Hong Kong
people dressed in visual rock style also sometimes gather there.

game arcades
: 18+, student in school uniform cannot enter
Many game arcades are like the Japanese kind that you can sit down.
Why you need to be 18 to enter? Well, I'm not so sure, but many
arcades have majohng and slot games too. Its quite funny to see those
middle aged people sitting there staring at the screen
playing mahjohng or slots actually. .. A thing I do not like about
going to a game arcade is how many people smoke in there. A quite
good and smokeless free arcade is in Causeway Bay. I forgot what
shopping centre, but it is on the 8th? floor.. .
BTW, I always see a poor kid (probably elementary student) sitting
on a newspaper on the steps outside of a street game arcade and
watching people play inside through the see through glass windows and
door... .
Some fun game arcades kids can go are the ones that you can play
games such as basketball, drop a coin to win money, UFO catchers, etc.
In Sham Sui Po's Dragon Centre, I see big families (with grandparents)
playing the drop the coin game to try to get win lots of money. ..
In their hand contains a small bag full of coins... .
(sweat drop rolling down.. @_@||) I guess this is profitable business?
But for these games you can play games to get tickets then you can
trade the tickets for prizes.

movies
: While I was in Hong Kong, the theatres show many foreign
movies other than Hong Kong and Hollywood films. There also showed
Japanese, Korean, and French movies. The good thing is that all these
movies are subtitled in Chinese and English! Some movies, like the
animation Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi ("Spirited Away") are shown
in two formats: dubbed in Cantonese or subtitled.
