Japan was the first foreign country I've ever visited. It was a very special opportunity because it was part of a high school exchange programschool trip. Not only my hometown Sacramento is the sister city to Japan's Matsuyama, my high school is the sister school to Nitta High School in Matsuyama. We stayed in Japan for a mere ten days, about 7 days in Matsuyama, two days in Tokyo, but it opened a new world for me.
