::}August.18.2004 := Looking at my second brother's homepage updates
"reminded" me of my own delayed and forgotten photo section!! yikes!
So, for now, I am scrambling together to get the traveling section
up. I added three very old photos in the [japan trip '98] section..
made a new menu there so you can select [matsuyama] and [various japan
photos]. yeah, things are definately getting more organised.. :D
::}August.15.2004 := OK, I finally updated [eye] by adding a new section
for miscellaneous drawings and adding a bunch of new pictures in [fan
art], [original art], [misc. art], [sketches]. go and check them out!
You can't imagine how long it took to upload files, make new directories,
and everything.. the connection keeps on being terminated! I really
hope that all the links and things are OK because I can't really check
them properly here with my puny 28.8 modem!
And, how dare myself! I finally got a "deviant @rt account", and updated
a few pictures *THERE* before updating *HERE*! hmm. of course, this
hp is more troublesome to update because I need to make all the
thumbnails and edit the html files.. there, you just press the upload
button and voila! So, it is at:

the summer 2004 Olympics is in Athens, Greece right now! Everybody,
do your best, ne! (and while all the athletes are competing, I myself
will have a phone interview tomorrow afternoon! nervous i am..)
::}August.09.2004 := So all these years, I didn't have much organisation
sense. Therefore, my "captain's log" entries were quite ugly. I just
slapped a new link under the previous one. I've done this since my 1999
entry. now, its 2005 and whoah, what a terrible mess!! Thus, I decided
its time to say farewell with that so called "system". I made a whole
brand new page that is organised by the year (AKA "stardate") under the
link [captain's log].. no more "supplemental" entries! :D :D BTW, you
may have noticed my long months of absence. No no, I did not go on
vacation. I simply forgot about working on this hp while having so
many things on my mind.. looking for a job and such.. . sigh.
::}May.11.2004 := Small update. I put up two exerpts from books in [libre].
Eye.html is about the meaning and symbolism surround the eye.. It was from
the book "The Evil Eye" that I randomly picked out of the shelf in the Powell
library book stacks.. . I was astounded to find out that the Pharmacy
sign "Rx" comes from the Ancient Egyptian Eye of Horus!! I also really like
the short story of Alexander the Great. But most of the book was about..
of course.. the Evil Eye superstition throughout the world.. Gems.html was from
the book "Myths, Legends and Lore of Gems" that I borrowed from the Santa
Monica Public Library. Well. Its been sitting next to my desk for about
two months or so because i was lazy to read it. Until I found out that I
could no longer renew it! @_@|| So the day before it was due, I looked
at the whole book. It contained many legends and too much information..
Hehe. to tell you the truth, i borrowed this book because it contained the
old alchemists' symbols for different rocks.. so it was kind of research..
I was thinking that it would be useful for my.. (cough cough) story. Give
it some non-fiction realism, eh? So, I had to copy about 10 weird symbols
(ancient alchemists and 19th century chemists made up all these wacky
symbols).. and I liked some of the legends. I didn't want to exactly copy
the whole story on paper.. so I retyped it in notepad. And it took an
extremely looong time to type the file. I didn't think it would be so
time and energy consuming.. I never heard about mythical gems either..
what an interesting read.. and perhaps ripe material for my taking!
Since my fingers were so tired.. there's bound to be typos...

I finallly uploaded the brand new sparkling snazzy menus!!! Also, NEW
index! yeah! Um.. in case if you're wondering, First i inverted the
image and then drew the red flames in photoshop.. and decided that i liked
it in white better.. so i inverted again.. and.. agh! kyo has blue flames!
I don't want to really redraw the flames again... lots of work.
I also uploaded the indexbye to my ucla bol account..

the old menus, and old index top picture, I made a ground breaking new

the links in [tardis] has gone kaput, so I fixed many and added some
new links.. enjoy!
::}April.25.2004 := Its been a blazing hot weekend. The kind of hot where
no shady refuge is available, and the sun blazes like a hot stove
firing at you all day long, heating up the concrete sidewalks.. .
heat waves sizzle from the floors, and you have to squint all day
long because its too bright. Its the "Festival of Books" again here
at UCLA. Now its very freezing in the computer lab. So, i just did
a quick PSO related doodle(in COLOUR!) yesterday.. and its up in
[eye]:fanart, game. if it isn't enough to get you excited, i'm almost
done with the new menus! friday's momentary inspiration~ and these
sudden inspirations aren't too healthy!!! =_=|| (in computer lab
from 6-11PM)
::}April.21.2004 := Since my last posted updated, I did many things..
but I again forgot to update this update page! Well, I was working on
some parts of this homepage sporadically.. . I got occupied with other
things! =) I'm currently reading Eric Schlosser's "Fast Food Nation".
Makes me not wanna go eat fast food~ but then again, I haven't really
eaten out in a fast food place for at least half a year! (bad stomach
problem after eating at the Burger King in Westwood during a lecture!)
Actually, I am applying for some jobs and need to write
a few cover letters.. I put a new "recent sketches" section in [EYE],
updated the [current games] section (I realised that it is very, very
outdated~! =_=), uploaded the japan trip'98 section in [WORLD] (didn't
realise that it was missing!) I'm updating other parts, but I am
"studying" html so i can present the material better.. . =D

I can't believe how lazy I am. If anybody out there still listening, then

Well, by "popular demand" or request, I finally added a guestbook
(by Lycos)!! yeah~! But it has those pop up ads that drive me crazy!

exams exams exams.. anyway, I put up an article about punks in
[libre] from.. about a year ago? I can't really remember.. I was in
the Main Library in CUHK during that time, and found this interesting
book.. I forgot, among other things, to upload updated files such as
quotes.html.. Oh, today is Valentine's Day.
Doesn't this minor update show that I still care for my homepage? :D
my biggest current project is still that China travels page (started)..

back for my fifth year at UCLA.. A very stupid thing is that the UCLA
server had problems and caused all my e-mail to be lost! So I lost all
my previous e-mails before September... =_=||
and I am working on the Hong Kong and China pages.. . .... wait,
I need to memorize the amino acid structures!! @_@
::}December.3.2001 := what?! Even *I* can't believe it! One half year
has gone by without any major update?! Well.. I thought it was a
good time to do some "winter cleaning". So I cleaned up some broken
links and added new ones. If you don't know, I am now studying in
The Chinese University of Hong Kong for one year.

shots outside.. Some kind of Veteran salution? Anyway, I thought
I should change the title picture. I have a three day weekend, but
I really wasted it ne.. The colour scheme doesn't really fit, but I
am too lazy to fiddle with the colours right now..

computer labs at UCLA! I've graduated. . for some reason, I was

them until just now as I am copying files from the .engr account!!
To tell you the truth, some of the files, I don't really remember
writing them! Its very bad.. similar to writing a programme, but
forgetting what you were doing.. . That makes me kind of frustrated.
I truly felt like trashing the whole homepage (or accidentally deleting
everything) and starting anew! perhaps its time for a new menu.. . or
layout. I feel a bit guilty to be modifying files that hasn't been
touched in 3 or 4 years.. with some even back in 1999! Time has flown
by so quickly.. . . .
