X / X japan was one of the first "visual rock" bands. It was very popular and influenced many bands. X disbanded sometime around 1997 after the lead singer Toshi quit..


Their music can range from heavy rock to something like classical music. I think that their music deserves to be called "beautiful" (kirei).. . One of their albums contain *one* song.. that is,.. one 29 minute song! I think that it must take much skill to compose and play it... . Like classical music, many of X's songs are quite long.. maybe more than five minutes.. I really think that they are true musicians that create art. ...

The "leader" of X Japan who composes most of the songs. He seems to like classical music and release a "best" collection of classical music.. *but* he also put his song "Amethyst" on it.. @_@ hehe.. I don't really know that that means.. Does he think that he is also in that level? :D Yoshiki lives in North Hollywood, Los Angeles.. After X, he is a producer for various people such as GLAY, Dir en Grey, and Shoko Kitano. He made the label "Extasy Records".

The guitarist of X japan who seems to look the most "normal".. with long brown wavy hair.. but not in their Indies period.. !! After X, he seems to have his own band "P.A.F." or something.. i don't really know much about him.. .

Toshi:= vocal
Date of Birth= 1965, October, 10th
Bloodtype= A
Star= Libra

Toshi has a very unique coarse voice unlike other visual rock bands. I like his voice. He quit X-japan because of "change of taste".. The rest of the members of X tried to look for a new vocalist, but Yoshiki said that no one has the same kind of voice as Toshi so X disbanded..

hide has a style of his own with a consistent style of dyed pink hair! He also composes some of the songs and released some solo albums. In his solo album, he also does the vocal! He formed his own bands "hide with Spread Beaver" and "Zilch". Zilch consists of hide and two guys from Los Angeles. It was such a tragedy that hide was found dead in his apartment in the May of 1998. People say that it was suicide, but we wouldn't really know what really happened... .

Heath is the bassist that replaced Taiji. He usually has long dark brown hair. I hear that after X, he also does some solo works like Pata..

I don't know much about Taiji. He quit X for some reason and hide recommended Heath to be bass. X then changed its name to "X japan". It seems like that Taiji likes to compose classical guitar style.. .
