Yosemite (CA), Los Angeles (CA),
Las Vegas and Death Valley (Nevada),
Of course, i live in
Sacramento, which is in Northern California. I consider these places

1999 summer:
My 1999 summer trip was driving with a rented van down to Los Angeles
(Universal Studios, Hollywood, UCLA, Disneyland, Chinatown), east to
Las Vegas (walking down "the strip", chinatown, downtown), north to
Death Valley, and through many pine forests like near Yosimete and
Lake Tahoe, and back to Sacramento.. It was quite an adventure indeed
driving backfrom Death Valley.. From desert to forest, to pine forest,
to no where, and back to Sacramento! :D Passing through all those
different terrainsis quite strange indeed!!!! I really found that
Death Valley is avery unique place. The view is so incredible!
I've never seen such a wondrous scenery.. . The view is open and
[endless].. . off the main road we were driving through, the
connecting roads to the sides were not even paved roads!! They just
had rocks!! So the vehicles (the very few we saw) who drive though
these roads leave a trail of dust! What was scary was that since
there was practically [no one] around, my oldest brother, the driver,
would go maybe 100 MPH!!!!! Just remember to slow down for the [dips].
At first, my oldest brotherand i saw the diamond shaped yellow and
lack sign [dips], we didn'thave an idea what it meant!!! We soon
found out!! It is kind of similarto hills!! My brother slowed down
too late so our rented van actually"flew" for some moment in the air
while my brother frantically pushingthe break pedal in the air (with
no affect of course!!)Well, thank goodness, it wasn't our car!haha...
. (sweat drop rolling down)
